AMD has announced the release of their new graphics card, the Radeon RX 6750 GRE, available in 10GB and 12GB variants, exclusively for selected countries. The “GRE” in the model name stands for “Golden Rabbit Edition” and is aimed at reducing the cost of the company’s GPUs while providing a slightly lower performance alternative to the Radeon RX 6750 XT, all at a price that’s $100-60 less, making it an excellent value proposition for mid-range computer enthusiasts.
The focus of AMD’s presentation is to meet the surging demand for increased VRAM capacity in graphics cards at more affordable price points, a requirement driven by the high demands of modern, cutting-edge video games, which often demand more than 8GB of VRAM for a smoother gaming experience.

According to benchmark tests conducted by the Chinese tech website ExPreview, one of the countries where the Radeon RX 6750 GRE is already available, the 12GB model outperforms the Radeon RX 7600 by 14-16%, the GeForce RTX 4060 by 22-33%, and the RTX 3060 8GB/12GB by 32-41%. Meanwhile, the 10GB variant falls slightly behind the Radeon RX 7600 by 1-2%, but surpasses the GeForce RTX 4060 by 2-4%.

In terms of pricing, the Radeon RX 6750 GRE 10GB has a recommended price of ¥ 2219, while the 12GB model is priced at ¥ 2379. For reference, this roughly translates to around R$ 1,527 and R$ 1,637 based on the current exchange rate of ¥1 equaling R$ 0.69. Although there is no official information regarding its availability in Brazil, it is certainly poised to be a compelling option for those looking to build a gaming computer with a graphics card under R$ 2,000, offering an excellent cost-to-performance ratio.
